Pages are having a tough time today in making their posts reach the audience organically. This directly affects the organic growth that a page could achieve.

Paying for promotions is the only other way to get around this on Facebook.
We have actually discovered some hacks which helped our page grow organically 10x times. Even though it was slow in the beginning, it took off like a snowball when we started applying these hacks on a constant basis.

Facebook Algorithm works in a way where it calculates the time spent by the user on a particular page, post, images, video etc. The type of content a user gets engaged with the most, decides the posts that appear on his page. Even if a person wants to look for something that is recent like posts from a friend or maybe update from some random travel blog which he visits once a month then he’ll have either check the news feed or specifically search for the particular page or post.

A business, who wants to grow should follow a few steps and be novel with this method so as to grow.

1. Wacky Headlines

A quirky headline followed by amazing content is the mantra. When you create a page, your initial posts will appear on home pages of the followers. But, with increase in posts, the reach on home pages will keep on reducing. Only if your posts start trending and if it gets attention from masses then only it will appear on the home walls. However, do not put any controversial content or anything that’ll give your page a negative feedback. Never mislead or give false information through your posts. Post something to attract positive feedback. Eg. Cheap ways to vacation, 11 ways to…, Impact of global warming on you etc.

2. News is actually News Feed

Generally try to post latest trending news on your page. Facebook gives priority to the news that gets posted on the feed. The news can be of any genre like politics, finance, sports etc. Try to be one of the first ones to post the same. News Channels have a huge advantage in this scope as they regularly post news and find way to your news feed.

3. The one which is seen sells the most

Videos are consumed better. Posting interesting content at regular frequencies is the key to success. LIVE videos work better as everyone gets a notification about LIVE Videos. While posting a video, tag interests and personalities as they give a better reachability. Tag your audience accordingly in your post. Minimum text, preferably not more than 80 characters should be used in your updates, posts and captions. Content should be quirky and give audience intent to open. In your posts containing articles, don’t use too much of content. In case you cannot avoid long scripts, present facts in a statistical manner. Delete the links to your articles in the text part.

5. No Pay Yes Gain

There is no point in paying Facebook for promotions as the page will just appear as sponsored to people who are not relevant to your page most of the time (our experience from sponsoring once). It depends on how much you pay as well because if you pay more then the probability of the post hitting relevant people will increase. However, it is not necessary that they’ll open the page. Glance on the homepage is also counted as reach. However, one can minimally invest in advertising on the posts that are too intriguing.

6. Active Admin

The impact of posts depends on the publishers (known as admins) as well. For eg. Assume that Mr. A and Mr. B are the admins of a page. If Mr. A posts, shares and likes frequently. Mr. B is less active compared to Mr. A. If Mr. A publishes the post for the page, it will have a better impact than Mr. B posting the same post.

7. Tagging and sharing

Encourage your friends to tag other friends or comment on the post. This also helps significantly. Ask your friends to spend some time on your posts and not just to like or comment on the post.

8. Complete information

Complete your profile such that it describes everything about you or whatever you want to convey. Facebook for businesses works better if you reveal more than to keep people in mystery.

9. Cross connecting your platforms

Use different social media for promoting your Facebook page. Specifically ask your customers to visit Facebook page on your blog, in your email or other media. Facebook is like a data dump which helps you integrate your other social media. Do not forget to link all your social media to your website as well.

10. Sharing protocol

Use Facebook groups in an optimum manner. Get added to different groups and forums with related interests using your page as well as personal ID and do smart interaction. Avoid cheap marketing liking commenting on every blog and page and shouting out your page. Do shout outs on various pages (likes for likes) till you attain a certain level. After you attain that level, you can contact the people of the pages with similar number of likes and maybe interests as well. Encourage these people to promote our page in favor you will promote theirs. You can also share other people’s blogs or any interesting content on your Facebook page. These people generally should be widely followed and the pages from which you are posting should be liked by masses. You should be able to differentiate between classic content and low-cost marketing.
